NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2016) – Randy Houser has packed a lot of heat into the week leading up to today’s release of his highly anticipated new album, Fired Up, from landing his fourth No. 1 with the album’s lead single “We Went” and performing it on ABC’s Good Morning America to premiering his new single, “Song Number 7,” across country radio worldwide today. The first new music from Houser in more than three years, Fired Up delivers 17 songs in total and is produced by Derek George, who also guided Houser’s breakthrough 2013 album How Country Feels.

“We’ve waited a long time to get this new music out, because we wanted to get it right,” said Houser. “I put my heart and soul into my music and every album is a reflection of where I am in my life, which hopefully other people can relate to. I’m so thankful to be in a really great place right now with this album, and I can’t wait to play the new music on the road this summer!”

Fired Up is already racking up rave reviews, with the New York Times calling it “his best since his 2008 debut, Anything Goes” and predicting that the new single, “Song Number 7,” is “likely to be one of the best country songs of this year. Its premise is a familiar country conceit: music about the power of music. The songwriting — by Justin Wilson, Ben Hayslip and Chris Janson — is impressive, but Mr. Houser’s performance is truly rousing, delivering soft sentiment with a gut punch.”

Rolling Stone Country echoed the enthusiasm, proclaiming that Fired Up “captures what the Mississippi native does best: huge-voiced heartbreak ballads and roadhouse rockers” and Sounds Like Nashville notes, “A versatile album that includes both Houser’s vocal prowess and diverse musicianship, Fired Up will satisfy fans who have been waiting for three years for new music from the singer. With 17 tracks that blend love ballads, heartache and a good time, Houser offers something for everyone.”

“Song Number 7” will officially go for adds at country radio on March 28, 2016 and Houser will continue to perform select dates before joining Dierks Bentley for the 2016 Somewhere On A Beach Tour in May.
