HOT OFF THE WIN, WATCH MONTANA’S
FOX & FRIENDS APPEARANCE HERE
Country rocker and bearded businessman Tim Montana raced earlier this month in the 2023 Mint 400, the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America. Montana competed in the event for the first time as part of the Zero1 Off-Road Mint 400 Celebrity Car alongside Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes and Freestyle Motorcross Star Axell “Slay” Hodges – sealing the victory as the first celebrity competitor to win their class in the Zero1 Off-Road Celebrity car.
“The Famed Mint 400 was everything I expected and more. Having the opportunity to perform for the drivers followed by racing with them the next day was the most surreal experience ever,” said Montana. “The fact that we won made the experience even more rewarding. Never in a million years did I expect us to win. Thanks to the Martelli Bros, my RAD co-driver Terry Madden, Zero 1 off road in addition to Axell Hodges and Jesse Hughes for driving like CHAMPS.”
Before preparing to race his first Mint 400, reigning champion Tim Montana kicked off the event by rocking a massive crowd of off-road and music fans. Eight time Trophy truck driver champion, BJ Baldwin was in awe with Montana’s effortless ability saying, “Tim Montana goes out the night before the race, performs at a concert all night, then smashes everyone winning his class at his first off-road race. Man’s got skills.”
The Mint 400 is a multi-day event held each March in the treacherous foothills of Sin City, featuring a massive vehicle parade down the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, a two-day festival on historic Fremont Street, and two days of grueling off-road racing on a desolate and punishing 400-mile racecourse. “Off-Road Racing and Rock-n-Roll have always been connected, especially at the Mint 400. Tim Montana not only rocked a massive crowd of spectators, he jumped in the Zero One Celebrity car the next day and won his class,” added Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. Montana joins the ranks of famous actors, athletes, and musicians such as Ted Nugent, Chuck Norris, James Garner, Steve McQueen, and Jay Leno, alongside teammates Axell Hodges and Jesse Hughes.
“Only Tim Montana could play a concert til the wee hours of the morning to a packed house and get up at the crack of dawn to put all the driving critics to shame by winning his class in the Zero One Celebrity car,” said Travis Pastrana.
Montana’s Mint 400 win preceded his appearance on Fox & Friends this past Saturday, March 25th in which Montana performed, discussed the new music he’s set to release, his launch of Whiskerbomb BBQ sauces and upcoming tour dates with ZZ Top.
