Listen to Thompson’s Debut EP HERE

With a powerful country-rock voice, ABC’s American Idol winner Noah Thompson, who has over one million monthly listeners, delivers everything fans have been waiting for with his highly anticipated debut EP Middle of God Knows Where, available now. Featuring fan-favorites, Thompson’s exemplary debut project showcases the ample growth as an artist, the former construction worker turned country music star, has achieved in just one year. Listen now HERE.

I’m so excited to have this project out, and I am so proud that I’m finally releasing two songs that I co-wrote,” says Thompson. “I named the EP Middle of God Knows Where because I felt the title track is the heart of this project and one of the first I ever co-wrote that I felt was me. I’m so excited for the fans to hear it.”

Named an “2023 Artist to Watch” by Music Mayhem, Thompson is proving “he’s a music risk-taker not afraid to push the boundaries” (CMT). Staying true to himself with songs embodying his humble deep-sewn roots while adding a rock edge into the mix, Thompson is finally giving fans a glimpse into his innate songwriting ability, as the project includes two cuts co-written by the budding artist – “Middle of God Knows Where” and “Us No More.” The compelling title track takes the listener on a ride through the city of heartbreak and the aftermath of emotions felt when an ex leaves, while the spirited but smooth “Us No More” is a heartbreak anthem, delivering the hard truth to the gossip mill that happens post-breakup.

Originally released during his winning 2022 Idol season, the boisterous EP also features the romantic “One Day Tonight,” which instantly propelled to insane popularity and to No. 1 on iTunes All Genre and Country charts upon release and is still racking up an over 1 million on-demand streams per week. Earlier this year, Thompson returned to the star-making show to mentor this year’s finalists and perform a special duet version of the hit track with last year’s runner-up HunterGirl that American Songwriter praised as “show-stopping” and Country Swag called “swoon-worthy,” WATCH HERE.

The project wouldn’t be complete without the buoyant romance of “She Gets It From Me,” his latest humble-and-kind track “Make You Rich,” and his stunning and career-changing cover of Rhianna’s “Stay.” His performance of the well-known song changed his trajectory on the competition show, highlighting his superstar potential and taking him from one-to-watch to ultimately being crowned as the winner of American Idol. Showcasing his “jaw-dropping vocal control and clear sound” that’s “destined to catapult him to stardom” (CMT), the EP has already received praised:

Thompson is the real deal.Country Swag

His song ‘One Day Tonight’ is the perfect showcase of his silky country crooning, and its clear to us that hes just getting started.” Sweety High

The way the Kentucky native intertwined his traditional country sound with the smooth R&B instrumentals, proves that he’s a music risk-taker not afraid to push boundaries.” CMT
